who has brainwashed Mr.Patterson? I mean i like trying to stop global warming and save the penguins and all but let the action loving kids figure that out on their own i mean geez! if we wanted to know about global warming we would of reaserched it ourselves what next max learns how to cook? iggy starts to see? nudge shuts up? gazzy doesnt fart? i mean come on! seriously! what has happened to Mr.Patterson after may 2007 (when max. ride 3 came out) did PETA get to him after protesting at his door after book one?
Hope not but you know i reread the 4th book and it wasn't all that bad. I know i trash it a lot but it really wasn't all that bad...it was funny.and fang was a retard as in every book- so long as that doesnt change.

I've been accused of not caring about global warming just because I thought the fourth MR book was terrible. But that's not what my problem was. I mean, I DO CARE about global warming, and I consider it a very important issue. However, there is a time and place for discussing global warming and IT IS NOT IN AN ACTION-PACKED SCI-FI SERIES!!! The global warming thing totally strayed from the usual plot, and I don't see how it relates to Max and the Flock at all. I mean, really. They've spent their entire lives running away from evil scientists; why would they CARE?!?!Not only that, but the series pretty much lost its charm. The series should have been tied up at the end of the third book, but noooo ... Patterson just had to squeeze some more money out of it. GAhhhh.
At this point, he has failed to solve a lot of issues that he brought up in the other books. The plot twists he's coming up with now are just plain LAME. And the character relationships are getting aggravating. It's like, what is WRONG with Max and Fang? They obviously like each other; we all know that, so for crying out loud will they just admit it already before I have an aneurism!!! AAAHHHHH
Anyhoo, the point is: Good for you, James Patterson. You care about global warming. Whoop-dee-doo. But for goodness sake, you don't have to preach to me about it through your books. I'm sure Stephenie Meyer cares about global warming, too. But do I see Edward going, "Hmm ... I suddenly care about the poor little penguins dying in Antarctica. I'm going to use my superpowers to prevent global warming." Hmmmm ... no i didn't think so. :P

hey i have read the 5th book and u r right it does talk about global warming and such. GLOBAL WARMING REALLY IS KILLING US!
i think that patterson is doing a good thing by including global environmental issues in his books. the 5th one wasn't rlly about global warming though... it was targeting pollution.
