Welcome Nikki and Katee and Maria!!@Nikki, 13 Reasons Why is such a good book! A favorite of mine for sure. :) The Inkheart Series was good too, but I never got around to reading the last book..
Hello, I'm Jordan. I just found this group and cannot wait to get involved and get to know a few of you. :)
Welcome, Jordan! You were too quick for me--you found the welcome thread even before I could send you our welcome message. :)
Welcome, Jenna! Let's Pretend This Never Happened is one of my favorite books of 2012, and If You Have to Cry is on my list for September. :)
I just joined this group yesterday.. I go by April but I use my middle name on GR to avoid confusion. I am very active in the group "Dusty Reads" that is helping me read some of the books I've collected over the years but never gotten around to. I joined this group because I was interested in challenges that involved dustfree books :)I am 28. No children. My family is my wonderful husband, my two cats, and my hundreds of books.
Some of my favorite books are
,
,
, and anything by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni (The Mistress of Spices) or Tracy Chevalier (Girl with the Pearl Earring).
Welcome to the group, April Lyn! I love how you say that your family involves your books!! I feel like that too. :)
Welcome, April Lyn! Feel free to jump into any challenges that appeal to you. We're also starting our two September challenges tomorrow (they're located here) and we'll post the two new October challenges and the two fourth quarter challenges in the next few days as well.
Welcome everyone! Have fun and enjoy reading your favorite books or books you never thought you'd read! :)
Hi I joined good books at the end of August. I love reading a good book in almost any genre--as long as I know its a book that will keep me involved in the story. That is why I love reading the different reviews and getting recommendations. Thanks!
Welcome, Debra! Hope you join in some of our group and buddy reads! I just created the nomination thread for our October read here if you would like to nominate something: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...
Hi, I'm Melinda. I'm hoping this group will help me reach a goal of reading more books during the year. I belong to a book club. It's more of a 'social' ladies night out than a discussion group. Looking forward to reading the different blogs on this group page and getting some titles of good books to read. I've added the list of books I've read over the last couple of years onto my 'goodreads' page - didn't notice until a few days ago that it listed all of them as if I read them all in August 2012. When time permits I will go back and add the correct year/month.
Hey :) I'm Katie, currently a Studying to become a forensic psychologist so crime books fiction or fact tend to be my favourite books to read. Though my favourite author is Jodi Picoult. :)

Welcome to the group :D
Hello! I'm Kayla, I recently just finished my bachelor's degree and I'm staying home with my one year old son. I really enjoy Mary Higgins Clark, James Patterson, and just recently started reading Janet Evanovich, she has become one of my new favorites. :)
Welcome, Kayla! Have you read Gone Girl yet? It sounds like it might be up your alley with those authors, and we're currently doing a buddy read with it if you'd like to join us: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...

Hi all. I was looking for a group to challenge myself to read more and I think I found the perfect one.I am an Army wife-mommy of a 3 year old and I work ftom home. I enjoy all genres if books.
Hi! My name is Danica and I am new to Godoreads. I've always been picky reading books and a summer of no TV or internet definitely awakes the inner bookworm! I've probably read close to 100 books this summer because I simply had NOTHING else to do. Lame and awesome!
I'm a recent college graduate and really make a point to read right before bed each night. I work several different jobs to make ends meet and so reading brings it all back at the end of the day. Right now, I'm reading "Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World". If you've never read it (and especially if you are into psycology or books you read and have no clue what is happening), you should check it out!

Hello, Danica! I simply love that you make a point of reading before bed! Me too! I love putting myself to sleep with a book. And summer reading is the greatest too! Welcome to the group. :)
Welcome, Danica! I totally <3 Murakami too, but I haven't picked that one up yet. I'll definitely give it a shot. Is that your favorite Murakami?

Hi there, I am Michelle and the mum of 2 kids. My son (20 years old) doesn't read at all but my 18 year old daughter is a read-aholic..!! I love to read, and since I got my kindle I read at every spare moment. My goal for 2012 was read 30 books, and I am already on 29 so I will indeed surpass this.
Looking forward to hearing about good books to read, and passing on my thoughts of books.
Hi everyone!:)I'm Katya from Bulgaria. The most important thing about me is that I love reading (but hey, who here doesn't? LOL). I recently joined another challenge group but I guess I got addicted and want more and more challenges. Well, frankly that's not very good idea since in October I start classes again (Masters degree) and won't have that much time to read, but I couldn't help it...
Anyway, nice to meet you all and see you and the challenges! :P

UNWE (University of National and World Economics) in Sofia, Bulgaria. ;)
Thanks, Trevor! :)
Awesome! Maybe we can compare notes. :) My first two classes are Quantitative Analysis and Economics for Managers--this is WONDERFUL because one of my undergrad degrees is in economics.
Well, things seem to be different here. This semester we'll have Corporate finance, International finance, Monetary Theory (second part), Bank management and Cost–benefit analysis. (although I've already studies corporate and international as part of my Bachelor programme...). Where do you study?
