Okay I read really fast and usually finish books within a day so I will let you set the pace. :)
I have stamp club tonight and won't be home 'til after 8:30. I'll start then. I almost picked it up on the way out the door this morning and didn't. Shame, I could have gotten some serious reading in on my lunch hour.

Let me just say I love Po so much and ended up staying up extremely late finishing this book. It was just one of those ones I could not put down. I was a bit disappointed with the ending though. However I don't want to spoil anything for you so I wont say why until your finished.
I've barely started it, but what I've read so far I really enjoyed. My lunch hour reading will be cut short today (Friday bank run takes precedence, LOL), but I'll get back to you later with more thoughts.
Don't worry Im on vacation so I have had plenty of free time.
Finished this yesterday and really enjoyed it. I was a little disappointed with the ending also. I thought maybe Po and Katsa would be featured in the next book, but it doesn't appear that way from the blurb. I'm getting ready to leave and make my way home, so I'll check back in tomorrow with more thoughts.
I completely agree I looked up the next book too because I thought that maybe there would be more... And while I am okay with the whole not getting married thing I wish that they had made some sort of serious commitment to each other.
Exactly. Instead just some vague sense of maybe meeting up "later". Po was great, though. And his grace was interesting. Before she found out the truth and Katsa briefly suspected he was a mind reader, I had the thought that could explain his exceptional fighting skills too. I didn't dismiss it, but I didn't really think much more about it until the events that happened later.
Me neither but I completely called the fact that the king had a grace. As soon as I heard he wore an eye patch I figured that must be the reason why.
It makes you wonder why, in a land so wary of the graced, no one else had any suspicions. Then again, it would only take him saying he wasn't graced once for everyone to believe it. But if that's the case, would Katsa be able to even consider it's possibility later on. Complicated! LOL.
