Kelly stared at her pencil, and made it come flying to her. There she thought, satisfied.

Adele looked at the clock, anxious. Why did she even have to go to school anyways. Oh yeah, her parents adopted her and knew nothing of her powers. but she would never, ever tell them. Yes, she was held back a grade in kindergarden, for not sharing enough. Still a problem with her. She couldn't wait until school was over. Then she would go sit in a place she rented with her money from her previous job and be a fortune teller.

Kelly saw someone anxious. She smiled. She reminded her of what she imagined gypsies to be. Then again, she wasn't really one to compare people to books... She was wearing clothes that could be found in the 1800's after all...

Adele saw someone smile at her. It was just Kelly, the weird girl who wore old clothes, as everyone called her. No one at her school was particularly witty, obviously.

Kelly looked back down at her paper. She finished it and handed it in to the teacher just as the bell rang. She swept out of the room more dramatically than she usually would have. She just felt like it...

Adele scurried out as quickly as possible. She wanted to get to her 'job' as soon as possible. She loved everything about it. It gave her some closure, if that wasn't weird.

Adele walked out the front doors and went to her car. She patted the backpack containing her tarot cards and ball. She realized something, she didn't have anyone planned to go in this evening. She beat her head on the steering wheel.

Kelly walked outside to see the gypsy girl hit her head on the steering wheel... OK, then... She walked passed the car and opened her parasol. It was bright... Maybe she would go to the mall and pretend to be a normal girl... She shook her head, laughing the idea off quickly.

Adele ran into the building and quickly slipped her skirt, head band, and jewelery on. She loved getting into character. She then set up her ball and cards and put on the table cloth. Kelly wasn't in yet, good. She pulled down the curtain and closed her eyes, waiting.

Kelly followed in more slowly, to take everything in. She brushed aside a curtain. "You should wear that to school."

Adele laughed. "It's cool isn't it? I always feel so... flowy in it." Adele then went into her professional stage. "Come, come sit."

Kelly thought that over. "How about a palm reading." She put her hands on the table.

Adele said nothing, she just took Kelly's palm and read it. "There is some adventure in your life. You won't have many boyfriends but you will find a true love and..." Adele stopped tracing Kelley's hand with her fingers. "Your life will be short."

Kelly grinned and shrugged. "Romance life, never had one, not a surprise I won't really have one. Short life, also not much of a surprise." She stopped, worrying if she had interrupted her.

Kelly's grin widened. "I'm not entirely sure if I should tell you or not... I'll just say, I'm not exactly normal, and people are after me for it." She shrugged again. "No big deal, enjoy life while you have it, right?"

Adele let the teenager come out of her when she shrieked "Of course! Yes!" She grabbed Kelly's hands. "Just tell me." She then realized how stupid she sounded and blushed.

"Weell..." Kelly hesitated, but took her hands out of Adele's grasp. She put them out as if she was holding something, and the small vase came flying toward her. She caught it and put it down. "I'm... more different than what people think."
