I believe that Through Black Spruce: A Novel is set in Ontario. The first book, Three Day Road was set in Ontario and Vimy Ridge.
Robin, both of Boyden's books are so amazing...and have pieces of Northern and Southern Ontario. The characters travel within the book, so beginning in Northern Ontario and travelling to the "outside," he is able to paint a beautiful reflective picture by using the alternate settings for the characters to better understand where they come from.Boyden has got to be one of my favourite authors from Ontario...he does setting very very well.

Thanks for all of the feedback Autumn and Melissa and Asmah........so many Ontario authors seem amazing... definately the hardest province to narrow down.........
Another book that I'm planning to read is The PurchaseI'm not sure how much Canadian content will be inside but it looks like it will reflect upon the life and journeys that would compare to many of the ancestors that founded a lot of Ontario towns, like mine, from Quakers moving north to begin a new life.
