Peter wrote: "The book sounds good, Sharon. I'm also currently reading an Aussie author - Peter Corris. Novel is 'Torn Apart'."Yes it was, Peter. I've not read anything by Peter Corris. Might have to add him to my list :)

Thanks Brenda. She most definitely is and I'm so glad I started with the beginning of the series as you suggested :)
LOL Pressure, pressure. But... but with over a thousand books between you on your to-read shelves, I don't think I need to worry. ;-PRemind me to tell you about the true crime that inspired Brittle Shadows -- not that it resembles the case in the slightest.
lol! No you don't need to worry:) And the worst part is, it'll only take a little while to read it, then we'll be waiting AGAIN!!!!

Michael wrote: "Your in for a real treat with that one Sharon. It's vintage Gardner. :)"In that case it looks like it's going to be a very late night. This is only the second book I've read of hers :)
Absolutely gobsmacked by The Locked Room by Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö. They should be better known in the Anglo-sphere - the original Scandinavian crime writers. What a brilliant plot!

5★Fantastic read :)
My review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Must stop reading your reviews. The Perfect Husband has just claimed the 201st spot on my to-reads list. At the rate I'm going, I'll be 101 before I get to it. :)

Now I know what hermits really do with their time (hide in a cave with a Kindle and read all day and all night).

This one works very well and is about the same size as a phone:http://www.energizerpowerpacks.com/au...
Can also charge it from the mains.
David, we spend quite a bit of time in the bush, so I see it as a necessity. Ever had a phone go flat when you need it most? :)
