Debbie Moorhouse I've been following another librarian's example and updating the authors on the Dozois Year's Best SF anthologies.

It would be really useful if, once we've got one edition of an antho straight, with all the authors added and in the right order, if, if, if, pls! we could just somehow copy that information across to the other editions. Instead of updating each one separately.

Please!

The problem is that sometimes different editions of a work don't have the same secondary author(s). Like translators and narrators. Or illustrators.

Debbie Moorhouse True. But I was interested in something that the librarian could do, rather than something automatic. Sorry I didn't make that clear!

Ah, gotcha. Something like "copy secondary authors to other editions"?

That would be cool.

JG (The Introverted Reader) | 541 comments I've taken that thought as far as message #2. Your idea would be great, SF SQRL!
