My mom won't let me wear makeup till i'm 13. (im 12, too.)

My mom tells me not to do alot of stuff. Buti still do it.

I shalt be in love with my own sins.
I shalt not let anyone take me alive.
I shalt find a way when all hope is gone.
I shalt not care what you think as long as it's about me.
I shalt not be afraid to keep on living.

I think when I start wearing it I'd mostly go for mascara and lip gloss because I have pretty long eye-lashes and I get chapped lips LOL.
IDK...
I've been in love with lipgloss since I waS 8.

yes. And he only one ht 'm allowed to wear until August 10, 2009-my 13th B-day
here's what i think:
i think heavy make up is really kind of silly. for fancy occasions, masscara, eyeshadow, lip gloss/stick, and/or maybe blush and foundation is ok. for teenagers, as in, 13-16? i have friends who coat themselves in makeup (aged 13) everyday, which is silly. i think. i mean, they look lovely and all....... i think it is also ok to wear concealer/foundation in high school if you need it. but anyone under 13, maybe a bit of masscara or eyeshadow and lipgloss is all i think is ok.

Really though, I don't think kids need to start wearing make-up at all. I was just in a rush to grow up/feel grown up. There's no need for it.
i can see what you mean. every family is different.

Exactly. But little girls always want to feel grown up. So they should wear lip gloss. Because it doesn't exactly count as make up.

I'm 14, almost 15, and the only make up I wear is eyeliner, occasionally mascera, and lip gloss (because I have a lip licking problem, and lip gloss is the only thing that makes me not lick my lips). I don't bother with blush or foundation or eyeshadow or any of that. The reason I wear mascera and eyeliner isn't because I want to fit in, or want to feel "grown up", or anything like that- it's just because it's a fun thing to do, and it makes me feel confident. And it's not like I'm addicted or attached to it or need it or anything; I go all the time without make up, when I don't feel like putting it on or just don't want to.
And to anyone who judges me for the make up I wear: go mind your own business.

But I've never really felt the need to wear makeup, so I don't. I'm one of those girls who would go to the store with bedhead in her pajamas if my ma didn't make me do something presentable with myself. :D

It depends on what day it is and who im hanging out with really.
If its a monday and Ava P called to hang out and FORCED me to go, i wouldn't shower and wear my boyish outfits and sulk the whole time.
If its a friday and Nina, Maya, Eliza, Emma, or Sophie called i would actually try to make myself look presentable because i actually like those friends.
Being presentable usually includes a bit of foundation mascara and lip gloss.
If its a saturday and theres a party add eyeliner to the mix.
If its a sunday and june calls to hang out i'll try and make myself presentable because gabe is really HOT. And gabes always there.

i think its cute when 5 year olds put on a bunch of make up 4 dress up or something

(i am now in 9th)
but i didn't go overboard or anything
i didn't want to look like a whore (and still don't)

Eyeliner is by far my favorite make-up product, other than foundation xD
