message 58: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4746 comments Thanks Lara ;)

The easiest way to find a friends book, is first to find the book you want to read, and then on the book page the first thing is a list of friends that have the book listed. Hope that helps :)

Lara | 742 comments Thanks Lisa Kay! No worries on not finishing. That's why it's a challenge. If we always make it, it's not much of one, is it?

message 68: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4746 comments Honorourable mention to Lisa Kay, who battled the kitchen demons from hell, as well as read 5 from 6 books!

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 823 comments LMBO! Thanks, Sandra & Lara. Demons is the operative word. I had five of those demons working like...demons...on Friday and Saturday trying to get my cabinets in. We agreed to 50% down and 50% on completion. They are weeks behind (and holding everyone else up) and had the audacity to ask for a "progress payment"! WTH? Guess they want their money now. **sigh** I hate playing hard ball, but it sure worked.

Good for you LK! I hate to play hard ball too, and usually send my husband to do it for me. He doesn't mind at all. However, it's a shame that we so often have to let people know what professionalism is. And being late on a job is not professional.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 823 comments Very true, Lara. I've been lucky that everyone else has been wonderful, on-time, and clean up well after themselves. No cussing either.
