I wonder now if his prophecy was just one of many. After the way Kane's fate turned out I'm leaning toward that line of thinking instead of something more set in stone.

A lot of bad things have already happened to Gilly. And she's still a sweet, naive, loving girl.
And even if, say, William pissed her off or hurt her enough that she would 'forget' for a while her feeling for him, I still don't see her tricking and killing William.
I could see her slapping him or maybe even saying stuff around the lines of 'I hate you' or 'You're a monster', but never seriously injure or kill him.
But hey, this is just my opinion. We all have our own.
But what if Whites darkness consumes William and someone who loves him (like Gilly)HAS to kill him....

It is Gena Showalter. She changed her name around there is nothing to be concerned about yet.
She has done that earlier as well, mentioning herself as William's heroine.
Oh thank God you guys....I thought I had read that name before,but I wasn't sure if she was talking about her or some particular heroine she had just came up with...
I thought Gilly was supposed to have turned 18 already ? She's been 17 for a while now..

girls what do you think about William and Taliyah? I've been reading the book kane again and I had doubts about its scene, and I read on twitter a few people mentioned that maybe she's the girl of his curse. hopefully not that way.I´m team Gilliam and I don´t like this

I don't think it's Taliyah. Of course I have no proof but considering all that buildup with Paris and Sienna I wouldn't think the same buildup would leave him to Taliyah. But she may have something to do with the curse or there may not be a curse. At this point I'm just along for the ride.

I don't think William and Taliyah could happen,because I think in Strider's book (?) we learn that the Harpies are desented from Satan, and that is why William stops chasing after Kaia... At least that is his excuse,I think he stops going after her because he sees that Strider cares for her.
I thought Taliyah liked ladies, right? Wasn't that in Strider's book? Iz been awhile since I read it. Based on that I don't see her going w/ William.

I want him to be with Gilly... I just don't think it's gonna work with somebody else.Gilly is the one he wants to protect,she makes him feel things he hadn't thought he would ever feel, and I love that she is the exeption in all of his rules.

You should read Koldos book (book 2).William appears there and we learn more about his family status...
Am currently reading The Darkest Craving and I gotta say that Gilliam scene sucked! I'm starting to have second doubts about Gilly and William ending up together, how are we ever supposed to take her seriously if she's constantly throwing tantrums? I mean, she's 18 now and considering all she's been through I wish she would start acting a little more mature.I honestly hope Gena will starting writing scenes where Gilly stops doing things like sticking her tongue out and being so obvious about her crush. I mean,really, she should at least pretend she doesn't give a damn who he's doing, since he clearly doesn't care. Honestly Gilly, grow a pair and go get laid.
This is why I think that if Gena is going to go forward and pair Gilly & William, that something awful is going to happen to Gilly first. To make her older and darker...Just a feeling.

Yeah, you're probably right. It's just that I want Gilliam so much, Gilly being so shitty is really annoying. It's like she has no personality. She calls everyday at 8 in the morning and she was harassing Josephina about who he was with. Face it, Gilly! He doesn't care. I don't know, it's just I feel so angry at Gilly, I wish she would just ignore him or get a boyfriend or get drunk and get a tattoo! Yossra I agree with you but...william felt "hurt" when she told him idiot even told her that he would do whatever was necessary to be safe and raised his voice to say it and for some reason He supports her call it.I just hope that all the scenes we were reading in all the books means something and not be in nothingness.

but I agree with you, she still needs to mature and I think that she is the only person that william really cares.

You know my opinion. Gilly and William would be an awful pairing. If he really desired a child like that, it would make me lose all respect for him as a man. He deserves much better and I hope Gena will write an awesome female for him!

Well Gilly is not a little girl she is a young woman and I think that William is attracted to her in both an emotional and physical level but has not act on it because of her age. I just can't see them ending up with anyone else because it's been implied for some time. Just my thought I think I would skip William's book if he is paired up with anyone else.
Don't get me wrong, I'm team Gilliam all the way! I was just really hoping for something to happen between them in this book, I guess I'm just disappointed. Anyway, like you said, I can't picture him with anybody else. Hopefully though, Gena will give us something to root for in the next book ;)

I just can't see ..."TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU! 100% William and Gilly must be together at the end, but Gilly needs to mature, she's not a kid anymore, she's a young woman, but her behavior is from a little girl, so I think if Gilly mature in Torin's book, Gena will pair William and Gilly together. But if they don't end up together, I will skip William's book, because we have been reading about this two for so long, it will be AWFUL they don't end up together, they deserve each other.

Gena has never said that, what she's been saying is that she's looking back and forward on this pair, she has never said a direct "no" on this couple, in some page I read she was Team Gilliam.
