Me neither! I had never heard the too of them together before. I suppose it's because in kane's book it was mentioned that they hated each other.

WTF?!?! They hate each other and people are like "Oh, they might end up together"?!?! Makes no sense.

from gena showalter´s official site :A girl asked if Gena has some idea of William´s heroine(Making some reference to Gilly) And Marie said " I have heard her say she is "Team Gilly" and then later say she has an idea for the book, but a little time has passed since then and she could have changed her mind, and may still when she sits to write the book"..
And then Gena also responded: "to add to what Marie said, you will get to see the beginning threads of William's story in Torin's book, The Darkest Touch. :)"
so now I have more desire to read Torin's book ! this left me more anxious than before. i can´t wait!

I'm team gilliam too! Don't know why, but I really like the idea of them together. Perhaps the idea of someone like him being with someone like her. His protectiveness toward her is lovely. And the fact that this is not the case with anyone. (Don't know if i wrote everything well.LOL Don't speak english. Let me know)
I feel Gilly and William will be perfect. She suffered so much and she means so much to William. They have great chemistry I don't know how I will feel if they don't end up together.
I am tem Gilliam as well!! And I also agree that Williams' protectiveness is hot, hot, hot! But I can't seem to shake off the feeling that they need more time, more opportunities together, more something. I think we don't know Gilly realy well, cause we haven't read a chapter from her POV and I would like that!

GILLIAM OR BUST.But thinking about this from a logical standpoint (aka what TV show ships have taught me), Gilly has to be involved in William's book in some way, right? What else would the point of her character be? I think she'll either be the heroine or the antagonist, or maybe both, if she gets caught up in William's curse.

I LOVE Gilliam, but I'm hoping that their story arc plays out in its own book, and not too much of it happens before. I'm usually a bit disappointed when a couple that I ship over the course of a book series, finally gets its own book...and then it's consumed by the overarching storyline of the series, instead of focusing on the romance itself.
I'm greedy - I want to see every bit of Gilliam happen and have it be the focus, instead of the secondary story in someone else's romance.
I must say, after reading "The Darkest Touch" I need William and Gilly book ASAP. Hopefully William's book is next, I think we have waited far too long for his book.

Got my pre-order on my Kindle last night and want to start it immediately, but haven't been able to - need to finish a couple of ARCs first. Yeah, Cameo deserves a book too :) But I think I would prefer to read William's book first! WE'VE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS! ;)P.S: Will there be another AOTD book first?
Well, Cameo has been there from the first book so it's been a long time for her as well.If I remember correctly, GS said the next book will be a LOTU book.

Personally, perhaps it's knowing that she and Torin aren't going to end up that I'm willing to wait for her book. Whoever she ends up with will be a new character, whereas it feels as if I've been waiting for a long time for William to acknowledge his feelings for Gilly, nevermind waiting for her to be age appropriate for a romance.
Luckily, so far GS never confirmed William with Gilly. So maybe he will get a new character as his heroine.

But I do get your point, Cameo has been hiding in the shadows for too long. I'm sure she's very interesting ;)

Well, that and I think there's alot of folks like me who would be upset at that turn in the story.
Cameo never really intrigued me beyond her relationship with Torin, and now that that's done, I'm kinda meh about her TBH. But I do enjoy this series, so if she's paired with an interesting hero, it could surprise me. Showalter has a way of doing that for me.

After reading Torins book I am more interested with her and a certain someone. There was a lot of eye opening and just plain out suprises in this book. Cant waiypt till the next one.
just finished the book myself and I feel that we have three possibilities as the next book: Williams and Gilly, cameo and L, or Galen and H ( which used to be a demon). I am really looking forward to the next book.

Eda they're same person :D just after hell thing all of characters started to call her Honey, I think I read something about it the last book or 10th book. BTW I think Gena'll make William with Gilly (view spoiler) and I didnt get enough of William so I'm still so sad about it :(
And I hate to write this but I think she's gonna write Cameo&Lazarus :(
Lord, I may need to re-read the last few books. The crossover between this series and the Angels series has me confused on some of the details for these characters. I know Honey/Legion and Galen, but Lazarus, not so much.
I can't believe I don't remember the Honey nickname :// And Lazarus?? Dammit I have forgotten the character names?!? Was he the consort of Kaia's opponent in Book#8? Okay, I better read Torin's book and then come chat with you guys ;) Looks like I'm gonna have to reread a few of the recent books on LoTU and AoTD series as well! *grins*

I just read Torin's book and I'm so happy that I liked it!!! There were so many Gilly and William hints that I was ready to explode with happiness!!! Arggg I want them to end up together so very, very badly.

Now that I have finished Torin's book, I want Cameo and Lazarus' book to be the next one! William and Gilly obviously need some more time, but I loved how William's whole attitude changes when she is around! *sigh* That man...

If you could be a character in one of your books, which book would you choose? What would your character arc be like?
I would love to say I'd pick one of the Harpies from the Lords of the Underworld series—so powerful!—but my actual choice would be Gilly (from the same series). Being the sole focus of William's attention…the one he fights for…the one he's willing to die for…the only woman able to tame him. Yes, please! You can read all about her and William in The Darkest Torment, coming May 31, 2016. Oh! Oh! I may change my answer to Ten from Firstlife, a new young adult novel I have coming out February 23, 2016. Yes, she's tortured while living in an asylum, but she wins the heart of Killian, one of my favorite characters ever.

I personally don't want William and Gilly together, unless Gena moves the timeline forward and lets Gilly age some. For there to be as many books as there has been, I'm disappointed she has not moved the timeline forward at least 4-6 years. Only about a year has passed. Or maybe have Gilly leave the Lord's, go out and establish herself as an independant successful woman who doesn't depend on others to take care of her and protect her. Let her mature. THEN, maybe I will be more open and accepting of them. Otherwise, I just can't. A man as old as William, who is a Pussyhound, getting with a 17 yr old girl who was sexually abused and became a runaway. Sorry, but I won't read it.

Okay. Let's talk about William the Ever Randy! (Maybe mix the drink first LOL) Okay. I hear readers are a wee bit...upset about what happens to Willy boy in The Darkest Torment? A few things to keep in mind as you read :) (1) William is stubborn to the bone. He needed something major to happen or he would never change his he-slutting ways. (2) Without conflict, he would have no story. Yes, I could write about him showering, and skinny dipping, and seducing, well, everyone--oh! and oil wrestling--but I'd rather teach him to tend his own garden before weeds start to grow...or another man steals his roses. I'd rather give him a happily ever after! (3) He is reaping what he's sown for thousands of years. Remember in the beginning of the Lords of the Underworld series--the reason he spent time in an immortal prison? His crime was sleeping with the wives of other men. He's tasting his own medicine for the first time. I hope this eases your mind about him.
