I might have to add this series to my list! Would I like it, Karen?

I really think you would, David. It had a Monument 14 feel to me but with adult characters! Lots of wisecracking!

@bethany the chaos walking series is prob my all time fave series. Seriously. And it took 100 pages for me to love it lol. The first 100 pages I didn't even like it that much. Had to get used to the writing style and whatnot
@Bethany. Seriously, Chaos Walking is amazing. And book one, IMO, is the worst book in the series(I still 5-starred it).

Right? So good. It's been the entirety of my scifi but non-Dystopian book reads(though it is kind of bordering).
Currently I'm reading
. Trigger warnings in this one, but it's so absolutely freaking good. Next in line to read I think is going to be:
.
Karen wrote: "Just finished
! About time, right? ;) It was a PIFM book and so glad I finally read it!"Loved it too! It was good on audiobook - not sure if you listened to it or read it.

I still need to finish it but I've been enjoying it so far. Throne of Glass... Eh I'm not sure what to think yet but I'm gonna give it a good shot.
Karen wrote: "Ditto on Cress! My fave as well!"Yeah... I think they get better with each book. If so, then Winter is going to be awesome!
I want to read Fairest, but can't find it on Amazon UK as an eBook. *frowns*
I'm reading Cress with @Tommy and @James! I'm on Chapter 6! So excited to read this! I'm loving Thorne already!!

I'm still on Cress, but really, really liking it so far. To me Cinder and Scarlet were too close to call, loved 'em both. If I end up liking Cress more this and Winter is even better, this could end up being one of my favorite series. Maybe even #2 behind Harry Potter. I'm liking it that much.
I saw Marissa Meyer saying that Winter was going to be around 800 pages :O

Really?! the book is turning out to be pretty good. But so far my fav is Maybe Someday

I'm glad you're loving it that much.
WOW! Winter will be that long? I think even I might need a couple of days to read a book that long. Not that I'm complaining.
Yeah someone asked her to estimate the page length and she said: "Yes! The estimated (not-final) page count is posted on GoodReads at 800 pages, and that's going to be darn close!"And now if you go to the Winter Goodreads page it says:
"Hardcover, 824 pages"
So it looks like us fanboys and gals got a lot more to read still haha.

Awesome!
Marissa Meyer also said her next series will be superhero related. Scifi*of the space fairing and cyborg variety* and superheroes... I might have found me an author to follow for life :D

Well... Strictly speaking her next book is a alice in wonderland standalone retelling, her next series is a superhero book.

Still ploughing my way slowly through The World of Ice and Fire: The Official History of Westeros and The World of A Game of Thrones
Planning to read An Ember in the Ashes as part of the group read in June. Heard good things, so fingers crossed I won't be disappointed.
