W.J. Lennox | 100 comments Just finished The Dream Thieves Loved it!

Still ploughing my way slowly through The World of Ice and Fire: The Official History of Westeros and The World of A Game of Thrones

Planning to read An Ember in the Ashes as part of the group read in June. Heard good things, so fingers crossed I won't be disappointed.

I really liked this book. And read the sequel in April: The Ask and the Answer (Chaos Walking, #2) by Patrick Ness . It seems slow at first, then the spelling does take some getting used to but is so right. Don't worry you will be hooked in no time.

I really think you would, David. It had a Monument 14 feel to me but with adult characters! Lots of wisecracking!

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 957 comments @Bethany. Seriously, Chaos Walking is amazing. And book one, IMO, is the worst book in the series(I still 5-starred it).

I'm still on Cress, but really, really liking it so far. To me Cinder and Scarlet were too close to call, loved 'em both. If I end up liking Cress more this and Winter is even better, this could end up being one of my favorite series. Maybe even #2 behind Harry Potter. I'm liking it that much.

I saw Marissa Meyer saying that Winter was going to be around 800 pages :O

I'm glad you're loving it that much.

WOW! Winter will be that long? I think even I might need a couple of days to read a book that long. Not that I'm complaining.

message 13240: by Tommy (new)

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 957 comments Yeah someone asked her to estimate the page length and she said: "Yes! The estimated (not-final) page count is posted on GoodReads at 800 pages, and that's going to be darn close!"

And now if you go to the Winter Goodreads page it says:
"Hardcover, 824 pages"

So it looks like us fanboys and gals got a lot more to read still haha.
