I started and finished
and it was so good! I didn't like it quite as much as Bruiser (but that book is hard to beat!) but I had all kinds of feels with this read! It actually freaked me out a little, but I thought the whole thing was very well done and very clever. And I think Shusterman's son is a genuis, much like his dad!
Starting a reread of
for Heidi's group, and going to start

Vote for your favorite! :)
I recently read the following books:
Now I'm reading The Young Elites on my Kindle, and listening to The Outlaw Demon Wails on audio CD.
currently in-progress:
priority:
I'm actually surprised at how easy to read All Quiet is, for being written so long ago. Usually older classics mean I need to take notes or read the same sentence five times to make sure I understand what's going on, but this is very straightforward.
Since I last posted I've finished
,
, and
4 more books left in the Bone series, a fantasy both epic and hilarious
Locke and Key is... well kind of indescribable. Recommended for "mature" readers. So long as you feel you fall under than umbrella and are not opposed to reading comics, I highly recommend.
And Curse of the Wendigo was just amazing. I really, really like The Monstrumologist, but its sequel blew it out of the water, IMO.
Next up for me,

Yay for

I'm trying to get to this one! I opened up the book and was too tired to read. So I put on an audio and missed the whole 15 minutes. I was BEAT. Hopefully tonight! :)

Finished my heart and other black holes and really liked it. Now I'm listening to fangirl :) but I am still reading rot and ruin. Only a few chapters in but I really like it havent had much time to read read.
I think I found my next set of reading material. I was accepted into a writer's conference and need to read all of the submissions by my classmates. Should be entertaining!

@Alison Glad to hear you are liking Rot and Ruin! It gets even better as it goes. I actually couldn't stand Benny in the beginning but by the end I loved him lol!
Reading
and loving it! I am apparently marathoning this series instead of my buddy read of
. I'll catch up this weekend, buddies! ;)

I finished
and overall I liked it. I don't think I'd go as far to say I enjoyed it, and it did take me awhile, but it was very heavy subject matter. Very graphic stuff in terms of war. But it was interesting to learn more about the "behind the scenes" stuff you don't hear or read about much.

I finished
and while I really enjoyed it I am not happy that it is going to be a series. I am tired of all the YA series. It would be nice to finish a story in one book sometimes, lol.Now I am reading
I dreamt I was reading this kick butt book about time travelers but then I woke up... Q__Q I don't even remember half the plot now but it was awesome... WHY CAN'T DREAM BOOKS EXIST!?

I wasn't sure about it in the first 20%, but it picked up after that, and now - at about 47% in - I'm really enjoying it. It's not the most amazing book I've read recently, but it's good enough that I'm glad I took a chance on it.

Ashley *Hufflepuff Kitten* wrote: "and I hope you enjoy Scarlet, it's my favorite of the series so far!"So good. It's rare for me to read something, regardless of how well written, and think "How did they even come up with this?" which L&K had me thinking multiple times.
Only on chapter 7 of Scarlet, but enjoying it so far.
You should look into Bone if you haven't yet. Basically imagine a Lord of the Rings type fantasy, but for kids and hilarious, without losing any epicness.
I just finished
and I'm now reading
, which is so great so far (I'm only three pages in, if that. And maybe a little biased.) ;)
Just started
, the last book in the Furnace series.Read the last one about a year ago, so it's trying to come back to me. lol
