I found myself an ARC copy at a used book sale! :)
Ok, I didn't cry.One single tear ran down my left cheek. Even though I tried so hard not to let it out.
But I never thought that a platonic relationship would be the thing to make me cry.
You'll know the part when you read it.

YAYYYY!!! I loved this one, I thought it was an EPIC conclusion! Cassandra Clare is really good at writing those final books in the series. Hope you enjoy :)

I know exactly what you're talking about! And me too :)

Thank you! Well, because I was not impressed with book 4 (it was okayyy) or book 5 (ugh!), I have lowered my expectations for book 6 and I have the feeling it will be A LOT better :)

It is a LOT better! I didn't love book 4 or 5 either, but this one is definitely epic and makes reading those two books worth it!

I haven't cried over a novel since the last Mitch albom story I read, which was a few years. That dude's got a direct line to my girly side haha.
The last thing I read that made me cry was just this last October and it was the final issue of the comic book Y: The Last Man. Was not ready for those feels.
Jenny wrote: "It is a LOT better! I didn't love book 4 or 5 either, but this one is definitely epic and makes reading those two books worth it!"I thought books 4 and 5 were pretty good, but book 6 was great. The ending was perfect.

I'm reading this one for a book club... The opening of this cozy mystery sounds like something out of CSI. Yeahh!
I finished reading
and I loved it! Not quite as much as Fire and Graceling, but it was still really good!

I am going to start
tomorrow for a challenge I'm in and really excited about it. I tried to read it once before but I wasn't in the mood for it, I don't think. Perhaps this tie I will be.
Rose (gryffindor_girl75) wrote: "Thanks @belkis!!! I am loving Throne of Glass!!!!!"I loved these books as well Rose. Another one I liked that I read at the same time as ToG is
. They are really good also.
Jenny wrote: "Victoria wrote: "I finnished The Alien Chronicles and then read Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH (which I finished yesterday). Now I'm reading [book:The 39 Steps|153492..."Don't blame you... It's a really great movie! I've been meaning to read the book ever since I learned there was a book, so I'm glad I finally got to it!
I am loving ALL the books being talked about right now! Falling Kingdoms I liked a lot but had some trouble connecting to the characters. Grave Mercy I loved but I think Dark Triumph is even better! And @Jenny, Bitterblue was so interesting in that sense! Especially since he was part of all three books. I felt terrible for those people! I agree though, it was still good but I loved Graceling and Fire more :)
Finally finished:
Ah the series just keeps getting better with the mysteries. I'm excited to get volume seven.
I just finished The Young Elites and liked it a lot. I was going to get back to either Red Rising or Me Before You, but neither are exactly easy, happy reads and I feel like I need that given The Young Elites is rather dark. I'm not sure what I am going to read next but I'll probably end up re-reading something.
Nearly done with the audio of Icefall
and like it so far even though it is a slow starter. I am over half done with the audio of Say What You Will
and like it so far. I like the audiobook narrator from her work on Rainbow R.'s books so that may be helping me get into the story.

Thanks Harlee! We do have really similar tastes in books I've noticed :)

I gotta jump on the bandwagon here and agree with everyone else who loved book 6. I wasn't crazy about book four or five either, but Clare did a great job with the last book in this series.
Rose (gryffindor_girl75) wrote: "Thanks @Tracy! I will add Falling Kingdoms to my endless TBR list :)"I know how you feel Rose. I try knocking mine down and it comes back stronger but Falling Kingdoms is really good.

I got to a really sad part and had to set it aside for a bit.

I'm now reading Little Women (another book I've been meaning to read for some time, but never seemed to get around to reading). I have copies of Little Men and Jo's Boys too, so I'll read those next.
I finished and loved Fall of Night - Rachel Caine. Her books are marvellous, shame Daylighters is her final book of this series. But that is what I will read next on Kindle 1. I gave up on 13:24: A Story of Faith and Obsession - M. Dolon Hickmon due to the Child Abuse I was reading in the story. I couldn't cope with the storyline as it was, so I said so (that was from Netgalley). So I will put Follow The Leader - Mel Sherratt on Kindle 2 to read afterwards.
To those who told me I wouldn't be disappointed by City of Heavenly Fire...you were RIGHT! Wow, this is back to what I loved about the series in the first three books and felt were missing from books 4 and 5. Witty banter, amazing character development, incredible plot, shocking twists. Love it! And Clary hasn't once commented about how Jace smells like "soap" like she did about a zillion times in the last book, yay!
I knew you'd love it :) There is a really hilarious part with Simon coming up soon I think, you'll know it when you get to it :)
I started reading Cress today!!!! I'm on Chapter 4! Finished Throne of Glass last night....freaking amazing!!!!!!!!
Rachel wrote: "I just started

I agree with you, I don't like to read about vampires either. However I have loved all of Julie Kagawa's previous books her Iron Fey series, and her new one Talon.
I think that the Blood of Eden series concept is a great one. Once I started The Immortal Rules, I couldn't put it down.
