message 9504: by Cindee (new)

Cindee | 331 comments I just finished reading Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher which was really sad but well written. And Anna Dressed in Blood (Anna, #1) by Kendare Blake im not huge into paranormal genre type books, the ones I have read are good, but I never seek out that genre. (Although loved the Skinjacker Trilogy Everlost; Everwild; Everfound (Skinjacker, #1-3) by Neal Shusterman it was awesome!) I enjoyed Anna Dressed in Blood but not sure if I should go into Girl of Nightmares (Anna, #2) by Kendare Blake or try somthing else.

Just ignore the mistakes because the editing isn't finished yet, the story is on wattpad. Again I don't know how the heck I run into these gems but I do. this is a worthy reading.

I just read the 2nd one. it was pretty good. Not as quick reading as the first. I tend to like reading other books in between next ones in a series. I know, Im weird.

message 9516: by Cindee (new)

Cindee | 331 comments That is different Marylene! I feel thrilled when I start reading a book to discover the trilogy is complete and I am not going to have to wait for months till another book comes out.

I'm the same. I'm waiting for the final Shades of London book to come out before I dive into more of Maureen Johnson's works, the Name of the Star was to me as perfect a mystery as I've read in a long time...So I'm not in a rush to read the next book then go nuts. I'm just gonna wait.

I've heard that it's super creepy. I haven't gotten that far yet, so I don't know. But so far the setup is interesting.

Finished The Young Elites (The Young Elites, #1) by Marie Lu and I really enjoyed it! Really good fantasy, very dark, not at all what I was expecting.

Now I need to finish The Dream Thieves (The Raven Cycle, #2) by Maggie Stiefvater and then its Monsters of Men (Chaos Walking, #3) by Patrick Ness !

I really enjoyed it. It reminded me of Throne of Glass a little, though not quite as good. But I enjoyed it, and it was a pretty quick read.

I have the audio of unsouled to listen to soon. I hate how long it takes for the books in that series to get released on audio - I am guessing the last one that was just released will take months to be on audio :(
