Why does Bella kiss Jacob

I agree... I thought that it was a good idea. it added like 100 pages to the story if you think about it.... But at the time, I thought that it was really stupid. Then she broke her hand and then he got pissed and then everyone was mad at each other. besides Bella at Edward.

I think it was good to add the Jacob drama. It was funny when she broke his hand, and it was funnier when Charlie encouraged it! And everything that Jacob says to convince Bella to choose him is true. Edward is too hard to be with, and Jacob is right there. But I LOVED Jacob's ending in Breaking Dawn. It brought all of his issues with Bella together.

I was thinking about it, and maybe Bella did it because she felt bad for Jacob? She knows he is in love with her and he has to watch her be with his enemy.
Also she couldn't be sure he would come back from the battle. I think she just wanted to make sure they left on some kind of positive note.

yeah I mean she might love him but its not the same kind of love. she saw the truth before, she realized that they had a family love but then she kissed him (which was stupid) and he kind of pushed her into changing her mind.Whereas she truly loves Edward.

Well, in all fairness, Edward didn't really need to FORCE Bella to love her. I agree that Jacob might have been going too far, but Bella was so blinded by her love for Edward that she never gave Jacob a chance. I think he kissed her just to see if it would spark anything. In Jacob's mind, he was probably thinking that Bella and Eward were going a bit fast.

That is true, its not like Jacob saw a Bella/Edward romance everyday! So ya from Jacob's point of view, they were going fast, so maybe Jacob just wanted to get even with Edward by kissing Bella!
