Rochelle (rochelleweber) | 3 comments How cool! Another Heinlein fan! Most of the time when people ask me about my favorite book, I list my favorite authors and the Old Man is always at the top of my list. Maureen Johnson is one of my favorite characters in that she's one of the few people who can keep Lazarus Long in line.

My book, Rock Bound, started as fan fic based in Luna City, but since I didn't think I could publish it that way, I wrote it so that several of my prisoners are fans of Heinlein and they name their town Luna City in homage to him. The Moon is a Harsh Mistress is, of course, a banned book in my universe.

So--you just might enjoy Rock Bound. Needless to say, I don't claim to be as good as Heinlein was. But if you want sci-fi with heart and romance with above average intelligence, Rock Bound is for you. The buy link is

My name is Vacirca Vaughn.

I am on Facebook, under Vacirca V. Vaughn.

My favorite book changes quite frequently LOL. My favorite genres are AA Christian Fiction and IMR fiction.

I've published two poetry collections entitled If My Soul Could Talk and On the Outside, Looking In.

Now, after so many years, I am trying to publish a completed novel entitled Ayiti. I've posted some chapters on my Goodreads profile. It's a Christian romance novel about a Haitian doctor who travels back to Haiti (right before the earthquake)where she encounters a spiritual journey and falls in love with a missionary. They go through all kinds of mess! LOL.

Nice to meet y'all.
