This book deals with a certain Police man ( who's name I can't remember) that uses Magic to solve crimes. That's about all I remember.It may have even be a series .

OH yeah it was NOT Dresden files because that is not in England and that is one of the things I am most sure about(I think).

Hiya, Scottk. Do you know if this was a recent book or series? Randall Garrett had a series of books featuring Lord Darcy (wiki here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord_Dar...), and Robert Sheckley had 3 books featuring his detective Hob Draconian: The Alternative Detective, Draconian New York, and Soma Blues, but these are both older series.

I think it may be the Lord Darcy ones...maybe it has been a while so it would be an older series. I will have to check them out ! Thanks Peggy !

Too Many Magicians is the first book in the Lord Darcy series, written by Randall Garrett. Followed by Ten Little Wizards and A Study in Sorcery written by Michael Kurland after Garrett's death.
