So I'm actually a writer and one of my characters is a self-aware zombie. is that allwed? Like they still have to eat flesh or they fall apart but they don't lose their mind after the change happens.Is that okay for a character?

And for the second question-> so how gory can we get? I am a vivid writer when I want to be. Do I have to tone it down or can I be overly bloody?
