1. There are a few different types of slavery. Some people are forced to work on farms, mines, some doing work around the house, and some as prostitutes. 2. A) I noticed that many of the regions mentioned involved child labor, like the child-soldiers of Africa and the child-workers in South America.
B) One thing that stood out in paticular to me was that no where in the world, except for Greenland - although they probably had no data, was free of slaves.
C) I also noticed how Asia had the greatest amount of slavery. I thought it might be because they had the most people.
3. They recommend educating yourself about slavery. They have links to a glossary, books, documents and research possibilities. They also would like you to contribute regular donations which help them accomplish the activities they need to.
4. Their promises lure me
to travel far across the sea
Their lies trap me
in a land from which I cannot flee
I have been tricked
I have been trafficked

-Mining
-Agriculture
-Prostitution

-One of the most common jobs for slaves is domestic servitude.
-1.6 BILLION dollars is the profit that people in Africa get off of slavery.
-A lot of women are trafficked around Eurasia- about 40,000 to be exact.

1. There are not different kinds of slavery. There is only one way to control someone. The slaves might be in different locations, but they are still people, still humans. No matter what they're paid(If they're paid), or what their "master is like," it's still slavery and it's still wrong.2.a-I was suprised to see the U.S. has slaves, aren't we supposed to be the land of the free?
b-South and Southeast Asia have the largest number of slaves in the world.
c-The U.S is mainly a reciever of slave labor and products.

1. sex slaves, people (mainly kids) forced to work in factories, prisoners of war (which are treated like slaves), agricultural, mining and probably more.
2. A)Japan is the worst for sex trafficking, if i read correctly. B)Recently, 6,000 and more people have just been freed from Brazil. Hooray!!! C)In the Middle East and Africa, it is estimated that 1.6 billion is made in profits. Sad.
3. Two things they are persuading you to do is to educate your self on what they're doing and the other is spreading the word about it so other people can educate themselves and help out.

Beat me down with wooden sticks,

I know i sewed the shoe wrong,

They want you to learn more about it and see how bad it is, and then tell everyone about it, because then they will see how bad it is and will want to stop it too, and the more people you have to go against something, the stronger it is, and the stronger it is the more a percentage that it will be overcome
