Dylan (greendragon06) | 13 comments I loved the movie too. I know that it has been on lists of worst movies of 2000 and beyond, but I think its partially because it is long...I like a long movie every once and a while and I loved this one.

Geoffrey | 209 comments It was my favorite movie of that year until I saw THE READER.
It was one of the few movies that I thought the over rated Cate Blanchett did a decent job.

Rachel (randhrshipper1) | 49 comments I'm so glad to hear good things from you all about this film! I know everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it seems like Tom takes any chance he gets to slam it. I enjoyed this film VERY much on its release and I've never stopped. I don't mind that it's long, Cate Blanchett is one of the best actresses working PERIOD, and I think the way special effects were used to de-age the actors is one of the truly groundbreaking uses of such technology in recent years. And it's used in a way that assists the story, they're not just effects for effects sake. An emotional story and I liked the production values, too.

Tom | 5558 comments Quite right. THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON is a movie that will never forget or forgive, that deserves to be slammed at every opportunity.

Opinions differ, of course. Glad you dig it, Rachel.
