i do love personal progress, it had changed my life.
i'm almost done...
i was kind of irritated when they added virtue, because i am very nearly done! but it will be fun..
hey i'm glad you started this, i was thinking of doing it, but you beat me to it!

since we have a personal progress discussion for the girls, should we have a duty to god discussion for the boyS??

hey makalyn..
i am ALMOST done with personal progress, and it has really changed my life and my attitude..
what's frustrating is that most of my yw that don't really DO personal progress, there is many of my friends in my ward, and outside of my ward who i have heard say they haven't done any! it's a bit frustrating... anyone else have friends like that?

Barbara So I'm glad that like Sydney, I'm not the only one who isn't really close. I love Personal Progress, but I regret to say that I'm not as diligent as I could be. I've still pretty much got the most done of the girls my age in my ward, but...
and our ward doesn't do too awfully much, I just do it on my own. I love it though, it's helped me a ton.

Barbara Thanks, Olivia. And I think that definitely all new Beehives will get the revised books, but older girls will just have an insert or something. I don't really want to have 2 books or have to transfer all my stuff over. But I love personal progress. I'm working on an Individual Worth Project right now. Or at least, currently. We are daughters of our Heavenly Father, who loves us, and we love Him.
We will "stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things,
and in all places" (Mosiah 18:9) as we strive to live
the Young Women values, which are:
Faith
Divine Nature
Individual Worth
Knowledge
Choice and Accountability
Good Works
Integrity and
Virtue.
We believe as we come to accept and act upon these values,
we will be prepared to strengthen home and family, make and keep sacred covenants,
receive the ordinances of the temple, and enjoy the blessings of exaltation.

They will just create 6 more experiences for us to do and another project. I hope we get them before my 14 birthday because I plan on finishing Personal Progress before I'm 14.
