Does anyone know of a good book or resource that teaches about musical instruments (orchestra/symphony) that might also include a CD to listen to individual instruments?
Peter and the Wolf is a nice easy one. Our kids really enjoyed listening to that. Along with hearing the different instruments, we talked about how the different types of music made them feel.
A few years ago I did this with my son but we just used the internet. I can't remember the site but there was the whole orchestra and we could click on each instrument find out more about it and hear an example of what it sounded like. It was good one on one time for us.
