I have established this discussion topic to look at Grass, the second section of "Omnivore's Dilemma".

Well, I’m thinking that perhaps this is a book for omnivores and some lacto-ovo vegetarians to read. But, as a vegan, even though I learned a lot, I already know much about the dominant paradigm of diet in our culture, and I’m not really enjoying reading more about it. The whole time I was reading about Polyface Farm’s “ethics” I wondered what they could do with a farm planting & harvesting 100% plants. Interesting ramifications of grass vs. grain in the food chain though.

Doug, I'm sure you were happy to see that organic might mean more/better with grass vs. grain agriculture.
