Dee In the tradition of E. Nesbit, Barrie, and P. L. Travers, British children get up to no good. This is not as exquisitely written as Nesbit nor as sentimentally delightful as Mary Poppins (think the starling weeping when the baby stops understanding starling talk) but it has some quite good badness. The best Worst Christmas Pageant ever attempts the genre, and isn't bad, especially the classic first paragraph, but Brits do it better.
