Larry-bob Roberts (larrybob) | 11 comments We have a lot of variations on this author. There is also strange punctuation of the name. There is a wikipedia article under J.-H. Rosny which notes that this is actually a pseudonym shared by two brothers, who later wrote under J.-H. Rosny aîné and J.-H. Rosny jeune. The article also notes that many of their joint works are incorrectly attributed to the elder brother.

Does anyone think I should use the non-standard punctuation with the dash?

The best known work is La Guerre du feu, translated as Quest for Fire and basis of the movie of the same name.

There are quite a few authors listed as A.-B. Something, especially French ones -- because names like Jean-Paul and Jean-Claude are far less common in the US, and Peggy-Sue is usually written without a dash. I guess you're an exception to that latter part, Larry-Bob. ;)

I think all the profiles should be merged to this one, as per the Library of Congress.
