Is it just me or did the young Stephen, despite a high vocabulary, his sentances were choppy and hard to follow. But as his character grew his sentances grew smoother and followed longer and stronger trains of thought.
It'a actually a very good comment, by now you know that this book is sort of a fictional biography for James Joyce. And Stephen is his alter ego. Most part of the things that happened in the book actually happened to him.
