I like all types of horror books but ghost stories are among my favorite reads.

The book "Ghost" by Noel Hynd was an excellent read.

Please feel free to post other genres of interest in the horror field.

Holly (goldikova) House of Small Shadows by Adam Nevill House of Small Shadows

A favorite of mine. A bit of a twist on the normal ghost story, but the creepiness was cranked up to eleven.

Latasha (latasha513) i haven't read any good ghost stories since January?! that's crazy! Teeth in the Mist just finished that audio book. there's ghost, kinda but i wouldn't say it's a ghost story. and Wylding Hall but again, i wouldn't say it's a ghost story.

D20 | 173 comments A short one I might re-read for Halloween this year is Ghost Story by Jeff Brackett. I really should try some of his other stories.

Becca (memyselfandbecca) | 4 comments The Haunting of Ashburn House by Darcy Coates is an amazing ghost/paranormal story. Not too long and stand alone story following a women who inherits a old house for a unknown aunt.
