Pre-Raphaelite Gothic

The Pre-Raphaelites were not only painters but poets and their art was often based on literary themes. I think Rossetti was High Goth. What do you think?

I agree Alyne. I think Goblin Market has some gothic qualities to it. Also her brother's poem Jenny I believe was inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven. That one therefore is gothic too.

I adore the art, but haven't read any of the poetry, as I can recall.
