Would anyone like to read a classic horror book/novella together?

I would be open to reading it in the future if I have time to acquire a copy, Benjamin. If you want to start a thread in July, I'm sure others will jump in and join you. Let me know if you need me to set it up for you.

I can probably read The Haunted Hotel next month, Recluse.

That's fine, Lady.
Just let me know when you're ready.

I haven't read that one in years, but I still have my copy.

Great! I just bought myself a copy the other day and wasn't sure when I'd have time to get round to reading it.
I'll have to order a copy. I'll try to join in as much as I can. I feel like I've "lost" huge chunks of my life lately to migraines. Ugh. But I'm still here!

Oh, that sucks Martha. I know how you feel and hope there's something that can be done for you. They do steal chunks of your life, don't they?
Thanks for your concern guys. I am on new meds and they seem to be helping.
Couldn't find the Haunted Hotel at the used bookstore. I'll be ordering the "budget copy" of it on Amazon.

That sucks. I can't get it because I'm in Europe! It costs 6.99 for me.

Awesome, thanks!

I haven't read it. I'd love to read it in August.
It's free on Kindle:

I think I have it in print as well.

Benjamin, I don't have a copy of The Golem, but I would be happy to create a discussion thread so you can discuss it with others.

Jon, I'm gonna start the Golem this weekend. You up for starting on Saturday?

Sure, Benjamin.
That's fine by me.

Sounds great Jon. Of course any and all are invited!! I have been dying to read Meyrink, particularly after I bought a homage anthology to Meyrink, published by Ex Occidente Press

I picked up The Golem back in the 80s, when I was checking out horror's roots.
I'm up for that one too, although I may not be able to get to it really soon. I'll be doing Chambers first.
Thanks to everyone who participated in the summer reading. I hope we can do some more group reads in the future!
