Freebooksy | 18 comments Hey guys!

We thought this would be useful to Kindle readers, so in case you are looking for FREE e-books, we wanted to let you know about Freebooksy!

Basically, we post free e-books every day on our site (http://www.freebooksy.com) and our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/Freebooksy) from all different genres.

We also recently joined Goodreads and we'd love it if you would add us as a friend and join our book club where you can discuss these free e-books and even participate in discussions with the author.

Hope to talk to you soon!

Randy Harmelink | 2786 comments That is such an inefficient way of sharing free books.

On any given day, about 4000 free books are available from Amazon, and about 500 of those are newly free each day.

People would be much better off going to eReaderIQ.com, where they can get a lists of free books for specific genres.

Or setting up pipes on Yahoo to scan for free books that are newly tagged with tags they are interested in.

Randy, we understand that Freebooksy may not be the site for you. But many enjoy our service and the way we go about sorting free e-books for them when long lists become overwhelming. We do in fact sort our books by genre and our purpose is not only to post free e-books for Kindle AND Nook customers (who Amazon and eReaderIQ do not cater to), but to promote the new authors who write them as well. We have found this to work quite effectively, but we appreciate the feedback.
