Beastly is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, an old French tale. What is different about this new version? Does it change the lesson the story attempts to teach? What is that lesson?
It shows that once you lose something you dont have,u either want it back and realize how much of a difference it has been without it and it changes how u treat others.
The difference is that the new version is told by the teenage point of view and so it attempts to grasp teenage everyday conflicts. The lesson it teaches is still the same.It teaches the readers that when your looks, populartiy, and money is taken away all your left with is your true self and it opens their eyes to change the way they are in order to become a better person.
Several diffrences between the original and beastly is that they take place in diffrent settings and one it's about teenagers and popularity. They both show that when you lose something you wanted back.
The difference of the new version is that ones in New york City the other is on French, this version he became cursed on the other one he was already cursed and the lesson is be nice to other people like you want them to treat you andhow they say if it was yours it'll come back .
