I think they stayed pretty close the book, though i'm pretty sure the violence was toned down. Did you think the actors (actressess) played their parts well?
I cried when Rue died, both in the book and the movie. It was so sad!

Yeah, rue was my favorite character, too. I think they did a good job with the movie, but I sort of agree with those people that day Katniss seemed less unsure of her actions in the movie and that in the book she was only pretending to be all brave and stuff because she was scared silly in her mind and didn't want prim and her mom and all the people watching to know.
