Claire (lindlec) Historical gets my vote too

message 7: by Karen (new)

Karen (karenofthebookworm) I only have one poetry book, so I'll vote for poetry as it would be easy for me to decide which book to read.

message 8: by Chris (new)

Chris (calmgrove) Historical, then spy thriller, then poetry...

Chris Stanley (christinelstanley) | 922 comments I can confirm that July's themed read is Spy Thriller. I might go for a Charles Cumming myself, but please post your own preferences and comments here. OR you could count our July book Zoo Station for this genre challenge too

message 14: by Chris (new)

Chris (calmgrove) I hadn't fixed on a spy thriller title before I voted for it, but might go for a Le Carre novel as he'll be new to me (though my wife has read most of his books).

message 15: by Angela (new)

Angela (bookangel2) | 1454 comments I'll see how the time goes in July - may just read Zoo Station and kill two birds with one stone, or I may read a John le Carré, as I've got plenty to choose from on my shelves!
