I hope it's okay start a new topic,let me know if not. I have finished the first part and I think i will have to pass. I like how poetic and easily it reads but I don't really care for the direction it's going. It's just a little too harsh for me,not that I expected it to be candy and diamonds given the synopsis. Though it is a very interesting style,I just don't think it's something I will continue with now.

That is good to know. I don't know much about the book but I agree that it may not be a "summer-read" but I might still try it out....??? Maybe....

Idk...I think you might still like it...it's just the last book I gave a chance for interesting writing despite its harshness I regretted. Stuck with me in a way I didn't like and it's too soon for that. We'll see if I even finish the other one I was reading,it's not quite as dramatic but I'm only giving it one more chance.
