My heart was as cold and petrified as the iceberg that sunk the Titanic. Nothing could melt it. Not even the world's largest chisel. I was born to kill, not to have a social life on the sidelines. My life is just centered around one thing: to kill who I'm told to. Even as I watch the blood drain from their faces, my face is emotionless. I work for the I.E.A (or the Incredibly Evil Agency...ironic, no?), and am the top agent. The job pays well, but I'm more into it for the glory. Just getting that kill gives me such a surge of energy. I loved my life(not that I knew what 'love' was), until that one fateful morning. I was sent to kill a woman named Sarah Jones. Never knew who she was, never planned to find out much. Just anything I basically needed to know (i.e. address, looks, place of work, etc.). So I had set out to find her. When I did, my jaw dropped to my knees in surprise. My heart rate had increased ten-fold, and I felt jittery all over.
I had fallen in love with my victim.

Story written:

Lorenzo ran through the forest, his breathing heavy, and his face scratched and dirty. The branches of trees scraped at his bare skin like merciless spears. He ignored them, however, and kept running. He ignored the screaming pain in his feet, his head, and hisself as a whole. He would shut down in any minute, unable to go any further. But first, he had to get to his destination. He wanted it so badly, that he would drive himself to insanity if he didn’t get it. He could see a light up ahead. Yes, the end of the forest; the end of his troubles. He stumbled out into a clearing and ran a few more yards. He collapsed at an alter, quivering with joy.
“Yes! I’m home!” he cried out, “I’m home!”

Word Count: 132 words

Zane gripped at Max’s shirt hungrily, his lips pressed against his neck. Their breaths came out in short gasps, and their hearts pounded wildly. Max trailed his quavering hand down the planes of Zane’s bare chest. Zane felt his breath catch as Max slipped a slender finger into his belt loop. Max’s eyes fluttered closed and Zane looked at him, a sickeningly sweet taste lingering on his lips.
“Zane,” Max purred, “Zane, oh, Zane…”
“Yes?” Zane asked, looking down at Max, an angel in his misery. His savior; the love of his life. Max opened his eyes a fraction of an inch, revealing two orbs of blue heaven.

Max slid his hand from Zane’s chest and wrapped it around his neck, pulling Zane’s face closer so that their noses were brushing gently against each other.
“Tell me you love me.” Max murmured his voice barely above a whisper. Zane took in a deep breath.
“I love you, Max.” he said softly and Max smiled slightly. Zane’s heart skipped a beat when he saw that smile.

“Forever.”
