Okay, so my cousin is turning 13 pretty soon and I wanted to know what are some good books for her. She's read the Hunger Games Trilogy and the Harry Potter series and she said that she loved them.
Thank you. :)

The Percy Jackson series? Or maybe CHERUB? Do you know any other books she's read, or films she likes, that kind of thing?

Avani I second the Percy Jackson recommendation.

Try the "TimeRider" books by Alex Scarrow.

Maze Runner!
Percy Jackson!
Artemis Fowl!
Maybe Divergent if said 13-year-old is mature.

The Shifter by Janice Hardy
Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Mantchev
Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan
Inkheart by Cornelia Funke

All of these books are just the first in the series.

The Chronicles of Vladimir Todd by Heather Brewer
The Alchemyst series by Micael Scott
The Seven Realms Series by Cinda Chima
The Heir Series by Cinda Chima
The Eragon Series by Christopher Paolini
I am Number Four By Pittacus Lore
Or maybe even Xanth by Piers Anthony.

the kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan they are awsome and perfect for a 13year old boy or girl, I'm a girl and love them

The Red Pyramid book 1

The Throne of Fire book 2

The Serpent's Shadow book 3

twilight if she's interested

The Princess Plot

Avalon web of magic, great book series for girls

A Wizard Named Nell keepers book 1

The Wizard's Apprentice keepers book 2

The Wizard's Scepter book 3

I read the keeper's books in middle school and liked them so much I used them for a school project

She can try the Alex Rider book by Anthony Horowitz. Its quite a buzz over here

LevaithanLeviathan

The Harry Potter series maybe, depending though on the time the kid's having. The Little Prince is another book that I recommend from the bottom of my heart. Extremely soft and elegant and somehow, the type of book you read more than once!

Try the Vladimir Tod Chronicles they are really good im around the same age as your cousin and i love them

The Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull is good. There is a strong girl and her at times very annoying younger brother.

Avalon: Web of Magic series by Rachel Roberts.
Theodosia series by R. L. LaFevers.

If she liked Harry Potter she'll probably like those.

Try the scorpio races

I've recently published a book called Journey of Hope by Victoria Murata. It's historical fiction about the Oregon Trail and about three young women who form a bond over the six hard months of the journey. It's carefully researched so all the historical references are accurate. My audience is young adult, although adults love it too. I think thirteen-year-olds will like this book--It's getting great reviews on Amazon. I hope you'll try it!

I'm having a problem finding books suited for 13 year olds as well, so this'll be interesting. Try these:

1. Vanished by Meg Cabot
2. Virals by Kathy Reichs

It all depends on what she likes - what genre and everything. :)

Try Maximum Ride by James Patterson! I'm not good at recommendations, since all the stuff I read is like for 17year olds. And I'm 13. :)

Try the Maze Runner by James Dashner. My friend recommended me this book and I loved it. Or maybe books by Sara Shepard. I loved all of her books, even though the series could be long.

Here are 10 great books and series. Hope this helps!
1 The Hunger Games series
2 Divergent series
3 Harry Potter series
4 Matched series
5 The Lightning Thief series
6 Uglies series
7 The Knife of Never Letting Go
8 A Series of Unfortunate Events
9 Twilight Saga
10 The Giver

She might want to try Delerium by Lauren Oliver. It's a dystopian love story with the same sort of feel as the Hunger Games :)

The Bartimaeus Trilogy by Jonathan Stroud (The Amulet of Samarkand, the Golem's Eye, and I can't remember the name of the third one). He put out a fourth later, the Ring of Solomon. Very funny. My kids loved them. Also Scott Westerfield writes good YA books. We read Uglies, Pretties, Specials, & Extras. Sort of dystopian, like Hunger Games.

Any Books by The Following Authors:
1) Emily Rodda
2) Ellen Schreiber
3) Cornelia Funke (Especially Reckless :)
4) Rick Riordan

And These Series:
5) Twilight, Stephanie Meyer
6) Chronicles of Vladimir Tod, Heather Brewer
7) The Mortal Instruments, Cassandra Clare
8) The Infernal Devices
9) Vampire Academy, Richelle Mead
10) Bloodlines, Richelle Mead (spin-off series to 'Vampire Academy')
11) Wolves of Mercy Falls, Maggie Steifvater
12) Evernight, Claudia Gray

-I have read all of these and they are good :)

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
Legend by Marie Lu
Graceling by Kristin Cashore
Divergent by Veronica Roth
Legend, Divergent, and Graceling are alot like the Hunger Games. I threw in the City of Bones, because it is one of my favourite series right now. I would recommend it if she likes supernatural and romance.

I'm 13 and I also love Harry Potter and the Hunger Games
These are some of my other favorites

City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
The Thief by Megan Turner
Levaithan by Scott Westerfeld
Divergent by Vironica Roth - very good for fans of the Hunger Games

Philip Pullman - 'His Dark Materials' series. Northern Lights is the first.

The Graveyard book by Neil Gaiman my youngest read it twice becaue he enjoyed. He is eleven years old.

A lot of Gail Carson Levine's stuff would be good, I read a lot of her when I was thirteen.
