Jack What did you think of the conversation Claudia had with Frank when he saw her in the grocery store? The argument she had about how protective parents should be of children? That doesn't add up to me. Parents are there to protect their children.

Evamarie You are right parents are supposed to protect their children but some parents take it too far they over protect them. They don't allow the children to make mistakes so that they can grow and learn from them. They don't want their child to be hurt at all. These aren't the best examples but the only ones I can think of. A protective parent will allow their child to ride a bike with a bike helmet while a over protective parent will not allow them to ride a bike at all because they might get hurt. A protective parent will allow their child to go to the college of their choice (teaching them how to take care of themselves) while a over protective parent will either chose for them (because it's a safer school or closer to home or family is close by) or have them stay home and go to school so they can make sure nothing bad happens.
