I saw someone else reading this, what did you think?

I've had this book on my pile for a while now - I love her show on E! - I too was wondering if her book was entertaining.

message 12: by Kristi (new)

Kristi | 599 comments Molly and Aprile, I laughed out loud in several places. She is just as funny in print as she is on tv. The dry wit definitely translates. I would recommend it.

I read "The World Is Flat" a few summers ago and found it rather interesting. My father-in-law lent it to me. It did feel like homework since my brain isn't wired for economics, but it was entertaining enough and gave me new perspectives on things.

I checked this book out at the library, but not sure it's something I want to read. What's your opinion?

message 33: by Kristi (new)

Kristi | 599 comments Carol wrote: "Kristi wrote: "35. "Columbine""

Hi Carol, I thought the book was very well written and it completely changed my perception of the event. It was heady stuff and I had to stop reading b/c I was crying in some places but at the end I felt I was closer to understanding the 'why' behind the tragedy.

message 34: by Carol (new)

message 40: by Kristi (new)

Kristi | 599 comments Hi Melissa, it was alright. Not worth buying in hardcover I would say. I had taken it out of the library. It is short but interesting.

Ha ha! You got hold of a copy of Cop Without A Badge? Was it interesting? Was there any real dirt on Danielle?

message 44: by Kristi (new)

Kristi | 599 comments They have reprinted it and you can purchase it again. It actually was not that juicy. And the main character is kind of deplorable and clearly a liar about a lot of things.
The writing was awful. I am trying to think of something nice to say about it!! I wouldn't bother wasting time or money on it.

Thanks for the heads up, I won't bother with it then. I guess any tidbits I come across on the internet are as giid as it gets.
