Nick (whyzen) | 1295 comments This isn't book related but science relate so still cool.

Don't forget to watch the transit of Venus across the face of the Sun next week (Tuesday/Wednesday June 5/6). Since I'm too lazy to build my own pinhole projector ( yes too lazy to make a hole in a piece of paper ), I'll mostly likely be watching it from a online video feed which is what I'm linking to a list of.

If you aren't as lazy as I am then here are instructions on how to build your very own pinhole projector.

I shouldn't have to say this but I will anyways, never look at the sun without some sort of protection. If you aren't sure what I'm talking about then just don't look at the sun.

Micah (onemorebaker) | 1071 comments you can also use welding goggles. they work very well. That is what we ended up using for the eclipse last week.

Thanks for posting this I am going to see if I can get my daughters interested in building our own pinhole projectors.

Random (rand0m1s) The sun never made an appearance here in the Seattle area. We're not really even entirely sure that this mythical orb called a sun even exists. :D

Yay for web feeds!
