For the contest this week, I have a few questions:
Are we allowed to name the characters?
Do we get to vote the winner? Guessing we can't vote for ourselves, right?
I'm thinking hard what to do- Can the picture just be a metaphor? Or does it have to be literal...? Is she really inside the wallpaper? I have no imagination for that picture... but I do think of it as a metaphor.

Yes, naming characters is encouraged. Yes, we get to vote. No, you can't vote for yourself (that'll be explained on the poll description). And for your last question, it kind of depends on what you mean. Do you think you could message me your idea on how you'd make it a metaphor so I can let you know whether that's okay or not? Because taking it as a metaphor could either be really creative or really confusing.

Is that a maple leaves? Well, you know, those yellow-ish things. I'm bad with things related to plants you see. Since I kind of allergic to flowers.

Honestly, I don't know what kinds of leaves those are. I don't think that matters much. You don't have to name the kind of tree in your story.

Yeah, and you need to mention the trees and the fact that they're yellow, you just don't have to name what KIND of tree it is.

There should be a contest for writing a full length book, any genre and it you have to complete one chapter per week/month/day whatever! Well.. just think about it!

Very good idea, but there are a lot of other things like that and I think this group should be kept to more simple contests. But thank you very much for your suggestion!

I was hoping so. I'm going to push back the date by a week and after that, I'll most likely cancel the contests for the rest of the year since not enough people are entering.
