Basil averted his eyes, looking at his feet as he left the room.

Kristopher looked at his retreating back and sighed heavily standing up. He disliked disappointing someone and somehow he will make it up for Basil.
Zefaria gasped when she walked in, her eyes wide with disbelief. "Holy.... This place is huge!" she exclaimed, looking around at the massive shelves of books upon books. She looked around, shocked and bewildered, wondering where to start.
"I know." He chuckled softly and grinned, "Best thing is that there is a fire place with fire that books don't catch."
Zefaria nodded, grinning wildly now. She looked around, tapping her fingers on her chin, trying to decide where to start. "Hmmm.... got any history books?" she wondered, though she knew the answer would most likely be yes.
"Believe me, we got thousands of them. Maybe millions." Devon grinned at her, "Just say the genre and one of the word that you want to find in a book. And all the books that there are willstack beside you. Just don't say a word that is used very often."
Zefaria nodded, and thought for a moment. "Okay um... History.... and.... Mythical Creatures," she decided, looking at Devon with a bright smile.
"Alright." He took a step back as books lifted rom the shelves and flew around them until they landed in stacks. Devon lookd them over, "Few hundreds I say."
Zefaria blinked in surprise. "Wow... I don't think I could get through all this," she said with a small grin as she approached one stack.
Zefaria shrugged. "I'm bad at that..." she muttered, flashing a grin. But after looking at some of the stacks, she found what she was looking for. She lifted part of one pile, and pulled out a heavy looking book, smiling brightly.
"Try not to say anything outloud cause sometimes books can make it alive." Devon shuddered. And that's how they got all the pets to Violet.
Zefaria nodded thoughtfully, biting her lip and flipping through the book curiously. It was an interesting book to her, and she looked at all the creatures with interest.
Devon smiled before he walked over to one of the shelves taking a book. He flipped through it before he put it back with a sigh.
Zefaria blinked, looking up at Devon. "Is this boring for you?" she wondered, tilting her head to one side.
"That book was boring. Plants." Dvon shuddered before he looked at giant clock at far end of library, "We have about 20 more minutes to the feast."
Zefaria blinked, her eyes widened a little. "Oh.... I should probably get ready," she told him, putting the book down, and remembering she left her outfit on Devons bed.
"Outfit is right there if that's what you are looking for." He nodded to the table where the outfit appeared, "I won't look." Devon smiled and turned around.
Zefaria blinked, flashing a grin. "Thanks," she chuckled, blushing a little. She glanced around the library, her back to Devon as she began to change quickly. She was done in a few moments, and turned to look at Devon. "Well...?" She wondered, looking down at herself.
Zefaria blushed smiling softly. "Thank you," she murmured, looking up at him with bright eyes. "Shall we go?" She wondered, taking his hand in hers.
Adelaide looked around and smiled. She wasn't a bookworm like Greg, but the sight of books comforted her.
"So... while we are waiting for Greg to arrive here, do you want to see any particular books?" Dominique asked smiling.
As books start to rise from the shelves, Dominique scowled at them, "Back to shelves." They stilled at her voice and went back at their own positions. She looked at Adelaide, "You need to be much more specific if you don't want to be buried under thousands of books."
