Jacob isn't stupid! He is one of the best characters! I thought it was the perfect ending to have him imprint on Renesme! Otherwise I would have been upset that Bella and Edward got their happily ever after, and he was left behind. Meyer ended the series on a good note.

I love Edward. He makes me smile. But I understand why y'all like Jacob: he's such a funny, daring, and intriguing character. But other than that, I'm not that big a fan of Jacob.

But I just think of how in seven years, Renesme will be full grown, and at this point Jacob won't be aging anyway. AND one of Jacob's friends imprinted on Emily's neice! She's only two, and she isn't growing at an accelerated rate!

yeah it is. i like how renesme does speed up in age faster than normal so jacob doesn't wait too long. and somehow it makes it less weird than quil.
