Alexandra Good question Holly! I can think of favorite holiday children's books, but can't offhand think of any holiday young adult books.

Tricia | 12 comments That's kind of a tricky question. I had to scroll through almost all of my books just to see what might qualify. The truth is, I think teen books tend to be more sunny-season focused.

I just finished Parrotfish, which culminates around Christmas, but in-all I wouldn't really classify it as a Christmas book.

There are also a bunch of books that I tend to think of as holiday titles, probably more because of the snow scenes than a holiday, but here they are: About a Boy (adult book, but a good cross-over), The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Giver
The Dark is Rising, The Golden Compass, Kit's Wilderness

Also, isn't the Catcher in the Rye set close to Christmas? I know there was a football game going on in the beginning of the story, and it was pretty darn cold throughout...
