A (kellyg1) | 6 comments How much does GPA matter to an MFA student? (Both now and after graduation?) Is it something to be remotely concerned about, or is it totally not the point of the program?

Hi Kelly, this post is obviously a case of your Asian side getting the better of you... ^o^v

Seriously though, it really doesn't matter at all during your time in the program (with the big exception being the composition series that Patti's doing where you must get a B or higher). Basically, grades are totally beside the point. It's about how much you are putting in and getting out of the program that matters (as cliche as that sounds). Most classes give you an automatic A anyway.
