MikeS (mothslayer) | 5 comments Would you use the other author lines (2nd, 3rd, etc.) for listing the readers of audio books? I know many databases use this field as an author/name search. I just added an audio book that wasn't listed and absolutely love the reader, Philip Franklin, and am wondering how to slip his name into the record...
Thoughts?

Lisa Vegan (lisavegan) | 2408 comments I'd put reader information in the book description field. They didn't write the material but their contribution is important to an audio book.

This is where I put information on translators & illustrators also.

I think Otis has said fields for these contributors might be added at some point.

Yes, we're definitely planning to add more author's and roles at some point!

John I use "narrator: Jon Doe" (who is actually my cousin, though not a narrator) in the Book Description for an audio's ISBN.
