I haven't got a lot of friends and I would like some more so I could find more books to read and maybe get some recommendations. I would like friends that have similar tastes to my own (Just say what you like and I'll tell you what I like). I really appreciate it since I'm fairly new to this site

Hey Tanya - I'm sorry, but I didn't see your post until now :( ...Why don't you join one of the challenges? A really good one for finding friends is the monthly Pick It For Me - found here for June. June's challenge has closed unfortunately, but the sign up for July should be posted in a fortnight or so :)

Otherwise just start joining in on the chats in the What are you reading or join another fairly active challenge like the monthly challenge and just start chatting to the members. You'll soon find some ppl with similar tastes :)

The other option is to hang out in the Fun and Games area - there is often a completely different group of ppl chatting in there...
