Well not sure about the worst book but there is a group here for the books you hated and one I listed was one I had to endure in high school and loathed. It was Heart of Darkness and I was so glad to see others list it too. It might be the group: Books I Loathed?
Some of the comments delighted me nd others cracked me up! I was glad to find out I am not alone.
