Even if 'couple dies' doesn't win, I might have to write it anyway. I guess it seems like there is more room for imagination in it, and so ours would be more different. the writer one seems more limited. But that's just me.

My idea was sort of like, the character is on goodreads or something and finds out that their favorite author is on there. The character friends the author and they begin to discuss the book. But as the events in the book (OPEN WIDE!!! ANY BOOK TYPE!!! PLUS YOU CAN MAKE ANY AUTHOR, ANY CONVERSATION PROGRESSION [i.e, does the author give hints about how things will happen, does the author get cryptic, at a crucial point of the book does the author suddenly go silent, etc) IT IS REALLY BROADER THAN YOU WOULD THINK!) start to happen in life, the character has to... It is really a wider topic than one would think if one uses their imagination. YOu can make in fanfiction style, Jumanji style, thriller/mystery style, etc. The couple who dies was my second choice though.

Yah. Don't define it too much, though. Maybe if we do it again, we can use the couple who dies. I had a great plot twist for that one, too...
