Lindalee I am about halfway through this book and think it is fascinating. I would like to hear other readers' reactions to it.

Karena I read it and it changed--literally--my life. Very moving. Explains a lot of what's been happening in my own life. I might try one of his regression CDs when the time is right for me.

I finished it today. Its really a good book and i liked it. I don't how its gonna change my belief as i already believe in reincarnation. But some of my questions are unanswered.
->Do humans take birth as animals/plants in their next birth ?

Suzan G I know Dr. Weiss and he is a truly honest and earnest man. This book is real.

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey can anybody suggest some further reading in this genre ?
Similar to this book. Real reincarnation accounts !

Suzan G Elizabeth Kubler Ross, also Edgar Casey maybe? I will try to remember more Somnath :)

Thanks Susan :)

"Humans have never been incarnated as animals !!!" I got this line from wiki on Edgar Cayce's page.. !!!

Suzan G I feel that no one human has all answers so I give each some credence but no one gets my worship :)

Maybe Ghandi and Dr. King come close to hero worship for me,,the rest of these authors are smart and worthy but not absolutes either.

I agree absolutely agree! If you get a chance please check out my book and see how I used Dr. Weiss work to link actual events from a past life in 1939

Adithi Rao I completed reading this book in 1 day; just couldn't keep it down. I read this book when I was going through a difficult time and was in doubt. And with this book, things became a lot clearer.

Only Love Is Real will prove to be worth the read because of your interest in real reincarnation accounts...when you're done with your tech reading of course :)

MaryJane Rings I really enjoyed this book. Have read books about the soul's progression before. This was the best by far. Am picking up the book today about soulmates. I have also read other books on the subject of soulmates and am looking for new insight into this as I feel that I met mine later in middle age many years after the dissolve of my first marriage. I did marry this man and am happier than I have ever been. Looking back I am well aware that my first husband and I were never happy together even though we both tried. We just weren't suited to one another the way this man and I are. We are truly soul mates.

Rajiv Loved reading Brian Weiss books

Nikhil hi,

I too liked the book .But after first half it gets too repetitive..Actually concept can be contained in not more than 50 pages.Rest is details which don't add much value

i think details are necessary especially in this kind of subject because it s the details only that gives authenticity to the whole concept of past life regression. those were essential to be mentioned to back this concept

Ria Reading 'Many Lives Many Masters' , it was a book recommended by a friend. Managed to find it at the city library. There is nothing wrong with the book and the Dr. Weiss has done a good job and and taken up a very out of the box topic. However wish there were more examples to validate the idea. Basing it completely on an Anonymous Catherine, can get hard to believe in parts. Overall a nice book!!

message 34: by Jill (new)

Jill Who thinks this would be a good book to choose for a book club discussion? I am torn because the subject is fascinating, whether you believe or not, but the writing is so so so there would be no discussion on that.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Karena From what I remember it was well-written. Give it a skim!

message 36: by Deni (new) - rated it 5 stars

Deni Hankin A very interesting concept. Whether it is true or not is irrelevant as it gives us a different way of looking at life and death.
Having had a near-death experience myself, I could relate to a lot of what was written in this book.
If you have read this, another good book to get you thinking is:
Journey of Souls: Case Studies of Life Between Lives
by Michael Newton

And in a slightly different vein:
Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah
by Richard Bach

Narendrāditya Nalwa Westerners who are looking for more material on reincarnation: Welcome to our Upanishads. Some of them are a bit dense, but plenty of interesting English interpretations are available all over the internet. A better way would be to start with books on Swami Vivekananda. He makes pretty clear observations in his lectures and speeches. An introduction to Vedanta is best achieved through him. Any questions are welcome. Happy to help. :)

Well Said . I would suggest Swami Chinmayananda books too. Start with Kindle Life , Self unfoldment .. later a must read "Discourses on Kenopanisad"
